Partner, Director of Urban Design and Planning

With over 25 years of professional experience in the field of urban design and planning, Ike brings extensive experience to IDEArc Architecture and Planning. Projects completed by Ike include master planned communities, destination resorts, entertainment/retail venues, commercial/industrial centers, and multi-purpose public facilities. Internationally, he has spent 15 plus years applying his skills in planning to rapidly growing countries such as the Philippines, China, and Mexico. His abilities encompass all aspects of the land design process, from the formulation of master plan concept, detailed site development plans, and “value-added” land studies.­

Ike’s expertise in interpreting the “lay of the land” enable him to develop site specific solutions that incorporate form, function, and cost considerations facilitating the client’s decision-making process. In addition to his design skills, Ike has in-depth project management experience.

Given the critical nature of collaboration and community buy-in, his ability to facilitate client and public relationships, concisely communicate project vision to shareholders, and coordinate multi-disciplinary consultant teams has resulted in new communities, neighborhoods, and urban environments that are distinctive places of lasting value and significance.
